So now the question is, does she try to expertly finagle it out of him, or, having already discovered that he's pretty good at conversational manipulation, does she just take the direct approach, since it is harder to evade that tactic, without it being obvious?
For example: "Do you have any big plans this weekend?" is relatively easy to dodge, whereas "I want you to go somewhere with me on Saturday - will you?" is much harder to get out of, without answering directly.
